Since the release of the call for entries for the 2023 “International Watercolor Festival Le Venezie” in January, there has been an enthusiastic response and active support from artists from around the world.
According to the statistics compiled by the competition's organizing committee, apart from China, this competition received responses from more than twenty countries including China,the United States, Italy, France, Spain, Belgium, Ireland, Russia, Serbia, the Czech Republic, Moldova, Australia, New Zealand, Turkey, Algeria, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, and more, with totally over 1,200 entries submitted.
Following the competition's judging criteria, judges from seven countries—Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, Ireland, and China—conducted two rounds of meticulous and rigorous blind voting evaluation for all the entries.
Currently, the judging process for the competition has concluded, and the final award winners' evaluation results are now being announced globally.
