Li Xiaogang， well known oil painter born in 1958, he is currently the deputy dean of the Li Keran Painting Academy and the director of the Western Painting Technique Research Office. He graduated from the Art Academy of the People’s Liberation Army of Fine Arts.
In 1992, he graduated with a master's degree from the Graduate School of Drawing Techniques in the Department of Fine Arts, Osaka University of Education, Japan. 
In 1992, he graduated from the Graduate School of Painting Techniques at the Department of Fine Arts, Osaka University of Education, Japan. He was a lecturer at Kyoto University of Art and Design from 1995 to 2000 as well as at National Osaka University of Education in Japan in 2002. Adjunct Professor at the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Academy of Art in 2009, he was an elected jury member of the Annual Japan Art Exhibition from 2010 to 2012. In 2020 through 2021 He’s been the graduate tutor of Art College of Chongqing University as well as for Art College of Asia University, Thailand.
